THE REAL STORY BEHIND THE MURDERS

One of the most well-known and prosperous rappers in the modern music scene is Polo G. His three albums, Die a Legend, The Goat, and Hall of Fame, have all been well-received by critics and have done well on the charts. He is renowned for his passionate and vivid storytelling, melodic rapping, and influences from legendary artists like Tupac and Lil Wayne.

Polo G has, nevertheless, also had to overcome a great deal of obstacles and suffering. He was exposed to trauma, despair, and death as a child growing up in a dangerous and destitute Chicago neighbourhood. In 2019, he nearly passed away from a heroin overdose after being jailed multiple times for drug and vehicle theft. In addition, he has lost a few close friends and other rappers to drug-related fatalities, including Juice Wrld.

Given his turbulent and sad past, it is understandable that some have questioned Polo G’s current status. Indeed, there have been other rumours on social media suggesting Polo G’s demise. A few of these rumours state that he overdosed on drugs or committed himself, while others suggest that he was slain in a shooting connected to his gang.

But are these whispers accurate? Is Polo G truly no more? If not, what was his response to these untrue rumours? We shall provide answers to these queries and the real story behind the rumours in this article.

2020 saw the beginning of the death rumours surrounding Polo G, as a fictitious news report was published on an internet page stating that Polo G had been shot and killed in a drive-by in Chicago. According to the story, he was shot by members of a rival gang on the 1400 block of Mount Lake Street, and his burial was scheduled on June 12 in Chicago at 3 p.m.

The article was plainly a fake because it included no reliable references or proof for any of its assertions. On social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, though, some people posted it as fact.

The followers of Polo G were confused and scared as the rumour spread swiftly, making them question if their favourite rapper was truly dead.

WHAT WAS POLO G’S REACTION TO THE MURDERS?

Polo G presumably did not want to give the rumours of his death any weight or legitimacy, therefore he chose not to answer them immediately. He did, however, obliquely reaffirm his existence by sharing pictures and videos of himself on Instagram. In addition, he kept working on his songs and promoting Hall of Fame, which came out on June 11, 2021.

By releasing a video of Polo G in Chicago shooting the music video for his song No Return, Polo G’s manager further refuted the rumours. He assured the viewers that Polo G was okay by writing, “He’s alive,” as the caption for the video.

Upon discovering that Polo G was still alive and well, his supporters showed their love and support for him on social media. They also called out the individuals who disseminated the untrue rumours, branding them as callous and inconsiderate.
